Hey, everyone! Guess who's officially an adult today!

[That's right, it's his birthday - or the one that he and Dirk celebrate. The only one he's ever known, so the only one that counts as far as he's concerned.]

Oh, yeah, by the way, Kanaya, I finished that necklace for you! When do you wanna meet up?

[He... hasn't realized yet that Kanaya is gone. Late with your gifts again, Lloyd. Always late. :/ ]

But man, I've been looking forward to this birthday so much! Now that I'm eighteen, I don't have to go back to school!

I know, I know. I've pretty much been an adult for months now. But now it's official, Kratos!

It's probably not, but I probably won't ever find out when my real birthday is, so any day's as good as another, right? Besides, this is the day Dad and I have celebrated it ever since I was three.

[Lloyd shakes his head.]

No. I don't think Dad was really thinking about birthdays when he first found me. I don't remember a whole lot, but he says he waited a couple months before asking me about it, but... [He shrugs.] I was only three. The only thing I could remember about my birthday was that it had been a "long long time" since I had it.

So he decided I was probably only enough to have another birthday, and he picked that day and made me Dwarven Potluck Cake!
