[There's a frown on Lloyd's face as the video feed comes on, the kind of frown someone gets when they're facing a problem they haven't managed to figure out.]

During the last full moon, did anyone see anything strange? [He scratches his jaw unconsciously - is that a hint of fuzziness there?] I mean, strange lights or circles of mana on the ground. That kind of thing.

[He reaches up to touch the scruffy patches of hair on his face, and an odd expression forms.] I'm growing a beard. But... I'm not... Only dad's supposed to have a beard.

[Lloyd scratches the back of his neck.] Well, I didn't think so, but I wasn't sure. I know he's sometimes been in a hurry to use the bathroom and tried to go in before you were out.

But yeah, I haven't seen him shave, and I live with him now, and you haven't either, so I bet he doesn't have to shave at all. That means I'm more grown up than him! Man, I can't wait to tell this to Zelos.
