[There's a frown on Lloyd's face as the video feed comes on, the kind of frown someone gets when they're facing a problem they haven't managed to figure out.]

During the last full moon, did anyone see anything strange? [He scratches his jaw unconsciously - is that a hint of fuzziness there?] I mean, strange lights or circles of mana on the ground. That kind of thing.

[Lloyd hasn't heard about any of the darker things going on of late. He really only pays scattered attention to the posts he gets on his Dreamberry. He tilts his head, giving Haseo a funny look. What's he talking about?]

[Lloyd feels like someone dumped a bucket of ice down his back.] What?! Who was it who died? Who killed them?

[He doesn't know the name, but that doesn't make this any less horrific. Lloyd clenches his hand and nods, his mouth forming a hard, thin line.]

[Lloyd looks almost offended at the idea.] No way! Dwarven vow number two: Never abandon someone in need. I'm not just going to look out for myself, Haseo. I want to help.

Why? [Yeah, like Lloyd's going to accept something like that.] If someone got murdered, wouldn't it be better to have more people watching out for whoever it was who did it?

The more people get involved the more people could get hurt, idiot! I know what I'm talking about!

[Lloyd bristles, both at the insult and at being dismissed so easily.] But if people aren't watching, the murderer could take advantage of that and get away with even more. Besides, I can defend myself!
