Damn it, I think Zelos is in a sleep coma again. He's not the only one, either. Colette's still asleep- [At least that's what he thinks. He's a little out of the loop, completely unaware that he'd been in a sleep coma, too.] -and Dino was in one, and Zack's friend, and other people. It's like they're contagious or something.

Is that what's really going on? Are people just getting sick with something we've never heard about?

[Man, now he really wishes Professor Raine was here. Even if she didn't know how to heal it, he knows she could figure out what it is. Then maybe they could figure out what to do from there.]

... Almost a year. I think I came in August last year...

Whoa. And I thought being here since January was a long time. [He peers curiously at her.] Are you... all right? Being gone from home that long?

I'm alright. I went home once and came back. But, I have something here that I don't back home so... it's not so bad, I guess...

[Yeah, that's right. She mentioned that last time, that she'd gone and come back once.]

What do you have here that you don't at home?

Well... The friends I made here and... and I don't think England and I would have the same relationship we do now if I was back home. Not with all the politics and stuff. Not only that, we also have our bosses to worry about.

["Politics." Lloyd isn't going to touch that word with a ten foot pole. Politics is one of those words his Professor uses right when her lecture gets really boring and things stop making sense.]

Yeah, I guess I've made some friends here, too. [He frowns.] But if you stay here, what about your friends back home?

Most of my friends back home are here. A few of them aren't though.

[Troubled.] I don't want to have to sacrifice any of my friends, even if it's just one. There's got to be a way where we don't have to.

Spain and Romano were here before, but they both left.

If we could just figure out how they left, and how you came back, then... then anyone could visit or go home. You've done it, so there has to be a way.

Yeah... The difficult part is finding out how. England's gone home once before, too.

We'll have to keep on the lookout. I have at least one idea, but maybe there's more than one. [A pause.] How did you get here, Belgium?

Then what's the last thing you remember?

It was 2010 back home last time I came back. When I first got here, it was during World War I in 1914.

Uh... okay. I don't really get that, but I got it. [Amazing how confidently he can say something like that.] So you traveled through time? That's amazing!

But I meant, what were you doing before you came?

I guess so. I don't know how, to be honest.

Hmm... [She has to think about that cause it's been a while.] I think I was cleaning my home but... I can't remember at the moment.

Some people say they got here when they fell asleep. I got here when I went through a Gate that was supposed to take me back to my world. Did you do anything like that?

Oh... I think I blacked out, now that you mention it.

So it wasn't another Gate. [He sighs, but he's not really surprised. Almost everyone's said the same thing.]
