18th Combo - [Video]
[Lloyd doesn't have any idea where he is, but that doesn't deter him in the least. He'd seen out the window of that huge building he'd been in, he'd seen the trees in the distance, and he figures that's the best place to look to try to get back home. He lives in the middle of a forest, after all.
So, look out, Somarium, there's an eight year old kid making a beeline for Espoir.
Well.
Sort of.
Because holy cow, this place is amazing! He doesn't even know what half this stuff is he's seeing all around. He's never seen anything like it! There's carts that are moving on their own and buildings that are so tall and so many people and some of them have funny things in their hands and and and-
Lloyd looks down at his own "funny thing" in his hand. It's like the coolest thing ever. He'd used it to talk to that man when he wasn't even there! He has absolutely no idea how the thing works, but that doesn't make it any less cool. Hey, maybe he can use this thing!
Poking a few buttons experimentally as he continues to trot toward Espoir, the boy's face lights up when a light on it suddenly starts blinking. And as for the rest of Somarium? Have an eight year old kid grinning on your video screens.]
It's working! I did it! At least, I think I did. That's what that light means, right? Man, this thing is so cool!
Okay, so I have a question! Two questions! Where am I, and has anyone seen my Dad?
[ooc: Lloyd was an idiot and used his card of youth again. O o p s.]

Works for me~
[Uh oh. Is he in trouble?]
no subject
Nevermind. Where are you?
no subject
[Bits of roads and meadows in the background now. He's probably somewhere in Espoir.]
But I live in the forest, so that's where I'm going.
no subject
[The Dreamberry starts shaking a little as she starts moving. Quickly.]
Don't go in the forest without someone with you, Lloyd!
no subject
[Said with all the cheerful confidence of a boy his age.]
My dad taught me how to stay away from bears, an' I know all about wolves!
no subject
[But then again, hanging out with a stranger like her isn't exactly "safe" either.]
no subject
[Hey, look, he's getting close to some trees~]
no subject
[She sees those trees.]
Lloyd, stop right there!
no subject
What... what's wrong?
no subject
Nothing...I...I'm worried, Lloyd. I'll be right there, okay? Just...don't move.
[Her voice is gentler this time, as if she was trying to calm him down.]
no subject
[He glances away from the Dreamberry, toward the forest, fidgeting - but he doesn't start walking again. He's staying still for now.
But how long will that last?]
no subject
[She's still on the move, and quickly. Don't think she's going to let him go into any dangerous situations by himself.]
no subject
Hey... Maybe he's choppin' wood right now...
[He's just... edging a little closer to those trees, trying to get a better look.]
no subject
[Crisis averted--wait a minute]
Lloyd...
[is that a little bit of a warning tone in her voice? SHE SEES WHAT YOU'RE DOING THERE.]
no subject
W-what? I was just looking!
no subject
[Hmph.]
Okay. Do you have anything that's special about where you are? Any kind of landmark or something?
no subject
[He looks around, turning slowly to take everything in.]
There's a house with a tall pointy tower!
[That's his way of describing a church, not that he realizes what it is. It doesn't really look like the one church he's used to. So, house with a pointy tower it is!]
no subject
The church?
no subject
[A beat. Then his eyes widen.]
Hey, maybe Colette's in there! She says she's gotta go in the church all the time!
no subject
[She looks a little relieved.]
Yeah, maybe! How about you go stay at that church for a minute?
no subject
[Sheena, you are too good at distracting little boys. Or maybe you're too good at distracting little Lloyds. Either way, Lloyd cheerfully and enthusiastically takes off in the direction of the church.]
Colette! Where are you?
no subject
She's almost there, so just...hang on, Lloyd.]
Keep looking!
no subject
Without thinking or hesitation, he climbs on the first available thing, standing up on top of the altar.]
Co-leeee-ette!
no subject
She walks through the doors, slightly out of breath as she looks over at Lloyd.
He's so cute like this.]
No luck trying to find her?
no subject
Nuh uh. I can't find her anywhere. Maybe she's not here.
[He comes up to Sheena now, staring at her. Then he abruptly reaches out to try to touch her stomach.]
