Hey, everyone! Guess who's officially an adult today!

[That's right, it's his birthday - or the one that he and Dirk celebrate. The only one he's ever known, so the only one that counts as far as he's concerned.]

Oh, yeah, by the way, Kanaya, I finished that necklace for you! When do you wanna meet up?

[He... hasn't realized yet that Kanaya is gone. Late with your gifts again, Lloyd. Always late. :/ ]

But man, I've been looking forward to this birthday so much! Now that I'm eighteen, I don't have to go back to school!

Ahahaha! Look at you, Lloyd. That's really something. [And younger!Dino's voice cracks when he laughs and when he's talking, but after several days of this kind of thing, he's gotten used to it]

[[Lloyd looks at Dino, then suddenly cracks up.]

Man, this is awesome! It's like we switched places, Dino! Only, you know, I wasn't quite that young.

Ah, well... [Dino looks suddenly unsure - and a little scared] Isn't that how it works?

[Lloyd sees that. If he could, he'd give the other boy a reassuring hand on his shoulder.]

Don't worry, Dino. I'm pretty sure you'll be back to normal in no time. I've turned into a kid twice now, and it only lasted a few days each time.
