Guys, we have a problem. Cruxis is here.

[He swallows.]

And so is Kratos. He's taken over. It isn't Yggdrasill anymore, it's him. He's-

[His eyes abruptly widen, no longer looking at the Dreamberry but something off screen.]

Damn it, they're back!

[There's a flash of steel as he pulls a sword out, then the feed abruptly turns off.]

Maybe if I stand behind the door and keep it from opening too far, you could pull the bedroll out. Then if stuff does start falling, it won't bury either of us.

[Zack nearly pouts at that, but nods and steps over to his friend. Time to do this.]

Okay. Just be ready to move back, all right?

[Said as Zack moves into position, ready to reach for the bedroll and quickly leap back if needed. Shouldn't be any different than poking a Cactuar, really. ...Only this time there wouldn't be any needles involved.]

[Okay, turning the knob now and slowing opening the door a crack. He's braced and ready in case anything falls against the door.

Uh oh, Zack! Something at the top is sliding loose!]

[As soon as the door opens, Zack has lunged forward; the bedroll is right where he left it, standing at the bottom of the closet within easy reach. Grabbing the cord that ties it shut is simple, but he tugs a bit too hard and falls back on his rear. At least that angle lets him see the box about to fall on them from above.]

Got it! Shut the door!

[Lloyd's already shoving against the door before Zack even finishes saying the words, and he doesn't stop until he hears the latch click. Still leaning against the door, he grins at Zack.]

Man, good luck if you ever have to open that again.

[In return for that grin, Zack laughs and shakes his head. Luck? Try a miracle.]

Thanks. But if you don't hear from me for a few days, you know where to look if you start digging.

[He stands up after that, tossing the bedroll at Lloyd as he goes back to his own; that was fun, at least....but now he does kind of want that nap.]

[He catches the bedroll, then follows after Zack. He unrolls the bedding on the floor next to his friend, then stretches out on top of it. Hmm, maybe a nap is what he needs, too.]
