1st Combo - [Video]

[A blur of red and black and a startled yell are the first things the Dreamberry picks up. The Dreamberry clatters as it hits the ground, the view spinning crazily, followed by a sharp thud and a low groan from somewhere off to the side.]

Ow...

[There's a soft scuffling as the speaker picks himself up off the ground, then...]

Man, talk about a rough landing! Is everyone all- Huh? Guys?

[Bewildered silence fills the air for a moment. Oh, look. Red boots in the Dreamberry's view.]

Where is everyone?

[The view shakes again, jostled by a careless foot.]

Huh? What's this?

[A red-gloved hand picks the Dreamberry up, then the camera comes into focus on a teenage boy's face. The worry in his warm brown eyes fades briefly as confusion takes its place. He studies the device for a moment, then frowns. With one finger he reaches out to poke something on the Dreamberry.]

I wonder what this-

[Click! The feed abruptly cuts off.]

Espoir? [Lloyd shivers as bits of ice and snow slide down his neck and he starts brushing himself off. He's still keeping a wary eye on Zelos, though, just in case he attacks again.

With that sobering bit of news, though, Lloyd's eyes widen. That... that wasn't part of the plan. All that suffering... Suddenly, he frowns, almost scowling with determination.] Damn it. We'll have to find another way to save them, then.

It's the village we're in now. They say ghosts come out here at night. I didn't really believe it at first until I saw it myself.

Well, we did. We reunited them. [A half smile here.]

Oh. [Lloyd's head jerks up and he gives Zelos a startled glance before nervously scanning the area. Not that ghosts are an entirely new thing, but still!] R-really? This isn't another one of your ghost stories, is it? Because I'm so not falling for that again.

[He perks up, completely taking that smile at first glance face value.] We do? How?

[Oh, Lloyd you are SO fun to fuck with. It's priceless every time. He shrugs.] Hey, it's your choice to believe me. You can stay out here if you want, but I'm gonna go to my cozy ghost-less apartment in Somni~ ♥ [He's walking away now. :D]

Well, it was in the process anyway. We couldn't separate the worlds so we tried to reunite them. [He sighs. He could really use some Tequila right about now.] I'll..explain the rest when we get back. It's a lot of stuff.

[Zelos is smirking and trying really hard not to laugh as Lloyd contemplates his decision, but when Lloyd catches up he acts like his normal self again.] You got it! ♥

[He smiles somewhat. Lloyd just loooves to test his acting skills today.] Yeah.
