Hey, everyone! Guess who's officially an adult today!

[That's right, it's his birthday - or the one that he and Dirk celebrate. The only one he's ever known, so the only one that counts as far as he's concerned.]

Oh, yeah, by the way, Kanaya, I finished that necklace for you! When do you wanna meet up?

[He... hasn't realized yet that Kanaya is gone. Late with your gifts again, Lloyd. Always late. :/ ]

But man, I've been looking forward to this birthday so much! Now that I'm eighteen, I don't have to go back to school!

Yeah, but they're responsibilities that'll mean something to me. I don't care about school responsibilities, but if I have responsibilities for a job that I picked, that's something different.

Not really. I'm just going to do whatever I feel like doing. I'm not sure if anyone's planning anything, so I don't want to make any plans myself. I figure I'll just go eat out and then do some shopping. I've been saving up so I'd have birthday money to spend.

W-well, maybe. I'm just... waiting for her to call back. But she didn't know it was my birthday, so she might be doing something else.

Oh, I'm sure she'll move her plans just so she could be with you.
