[It takes Lloyd a minute to call Colette back, mostly because he'd fumbled his Dreamberry and had to retrieve it from the floor. This isn't as easy as it normally would be, what with his broken leg. Still, he sounds relieved when he turns the Dreamberry on.]

Colette!

[He shifts, still in the process of propping himself back up in his bed.]

Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry, I was gonna call you sooner. What about you? Are you all right, too?

[ The moment it takes for him to retrieve his Dreamberry and call her back was agonizing. Her fingers fumbles against the device looking back and forth to watch if the screen will turn on.

When it finally did however, Colette released a breath she didn't notice until now she had been holding in. Oh and the relief on her face! ]

Oh thank goodness! I'm so glad you're alright! [ The girl smiles, nodding her head a little too frantically. ] Uh huh, I'm fine. I was able to board the first ship before everything bad started to happen.

I missed the first ship.

[Lloyd shakes his head.]

I was looking for Sheena and Zelos. I wanted to make sure they were all right, and that they didn't get left behind.

[His expression becomes serious, and he meets Colette's eyes soberly.]

I couldn't find them. I think they must've gone home.

[ Oh, now she feels a little concerned. She would have tried to look for the others, but the panic had gotten too much to try and leave. She would only have to pray that everyone would make it back okay—

—however, the moment Lloyd spoke of the two going home, her expression drops again. ]

H-home? You mean, they're not coming here? [ Did they not make it to the ship on time? ]

I haven't heard from either of them for a while, but I didn't think about it until the attack. I'm not sure, but I think they would have called us or found us if they were still here when that happened.

[There's still an edge of worry inside him, that the reason they never called wasn't because they were gone, but because they were in trouble, but he wants to hope for the best. Besides, the attack wouldn't explain why Sheena and Zelos hadn't called for a while before that.]

Now that you mentioned it, I hadn't heard much from the two of them, either. I just assumed it was because they were busy...

[ The thought caused a knot to form in her stomach. People come and go all the time, yet something about the attack left a bitter taste in her mouth. ]

You're right. They would have called us by now. [ She pauses, glance drifting away from the screen. ] I guess they really did leave...

[For Lloyd, it isn't so bad this time as the first time that Zelos left. Zelos had thought that if he ever went back, that was it. He was dead. But he'd come back, and something had changed. He hadn't died in their world at all. That gives Lloyd hope that he's all right this time as well.

He offers a smile to Colette, trying to comfort her.]

Hey, if he and Sheena left at the same time, I bet they left together. They're okay, Colette. You know those two as well as I do. They can handle anything.

[ Oddly enough, Lloyd's words were just the push in the right direction that Collete needed. She smiled faintly, registering the words with another nod. ]

Of course! Those two are very strong, and if they left together that means they won't be alone! [ She is glad in a way. Even though the thought of not seeing them for sometime did put a small damper on her mood, she knew this wouldn't be the end.

Who knows, they might even come back! ]

[If that's not enough, he has more words of confidence to offer.]

And don't forget, the rest of our friends are waiting for them, too.

[He shifts in his bed again, a little bit restlessly. He hates having his movement restricted like this.]

That's right! All of our friends are still there— I'm sure they'll be happy to see Zelos and Sheena again.

[ Huh, wait. He's on his bed? ] Oh, I'm sorry. Were you sleeping before I called you?

[ Oops! She didn't want to disturb him while he was trying to see! Guess worry got the best of her... ]

Huh? Oh, no, I was awake. I just...

[He rubs the back of his neck, sheepish and still feeling guilty.-If he'd been more careful, Kratos wouldn't have had to protect him. He wouln't be blind right now..]

I got hurt in the last attack. I'm supposed to stay off my leg.

[ Oh gosh... oh no that couldn't right! And she wasn't there to help him?

Do you see that concern that has returned to her face? ]

Does it still hurt? Is there anything I can get you?

[Colette's concern makes Lloyd laugh, soft and full of affection. Then he smiles at her, shaking his head.]

I'm fine. I broke my leg, but it's been set now, and I have medicine for the pain when it hurts. If you want to get me something, though...

[He thinks for a moment.]

Maybe a box of crayons and some paper? Or a pocket knife and some wood. [Such a pathetic look he's giving her.] It's really, really boring sitting in bed all day like this.

[ The laugh makes her blink, a little confused, but she feels the true nature behind it which only in turn causes her to smile. Even in his condition, he always did make her smile...

Aww no Lloyd don't give her that look! It's one of her weaknesses. ] Huh? Of course, I can get those for you!

[ She'll probably gave move stuff for him, too... just in case. ]

Also have you eaten yet? Would you like me to bring some food, too?

[Secretly, those looks and that laugh are also meant to make her not worry about him so much, but he's not about to say that out loud.]

I've eaten, but I wouldn't say no to more food.
