[Yup, somebody begged his best friend to show him how to lock. That done, he turns his attention on the Dreamberry - and Somarium in general by extension. His expression is very serious, and perhaps a little chagrined.]

Hey, everyone. I... kind of need some help. I need to get stronger, so I need to train, but I also need help learning how to fight magic users. [He makes a face.] Especially magic users that can fly.

[No, he's not talking about anyone in specific. What makes you think that?]

Does anyone want to spar? Or have any advice?

Even better. [He doesn't know if Eridan has any other tricks up his sleeve, but he wouldn't be surprised. The more things he can practice against, the better.]

Whenever you want too. I have enough free time. [ He only just hangs out with Sora most of the time. Really, he needs a job or something. ]

Someplace where we won't hurt anyone or break anything important. [So, not in Somni, probably not in Espoir.] Maybe the floating mountain? [Even though it was where he'd fought Eridan, it was at least away from people and buildings. Nothing to break but trees.]

How about now, then? I can get to the warp pad in twenty minutes.

Never been there. [ He pauses for a brief moment. ] But I guess we can go there. The only ones who might get danger is us. And the woodland creatures. [ Whichever exist out there. ]

[Click. Lloyd shuts the Dreamberry off, an eager and determined smile on his face. He only pauses long enough to make sure he has everything he needs - jacket, swords, shoes - and he's off.

He'll be at the warp pad in twenty minutes, just like he said he would.]

[ Riku didn't need to double check anything of his. He was already dressed and ready to go in case someone needed something done. :| The keyblade could be summoned so there was no doubt that he had that with him as he folded his arms as he waited at the warp pad for the other teen. ]

So how do we work this thing? [ He points to the warp pad as he walked over to him. ]

You just step on it right in the middle and it takes you there.

[Lloyd says this confidently. He may be a little fail when it comes to technology, but this is something he's used to and familiar with. Just don't ask him how it works.]

There's another warp pad on the mountain. That's where we'll show up.

[Now he's looking curiously at Riku.]

You don't have a weapon?

Oh... [ That's most interesting. The other teenager inspects it curiously. He didn't want to doubt the other boy's knowledge when it came to things, but Lloyd did remind him an awful lot of Sora...and Sora wouldn't know how it worked.

So Riku was going to keep the technical speak low. Not that he was any more knowledgeable than either of them. ]

Guess that makes sense. [ He shrugs, ignoring the look Lloyd was giving him. ]

Yeah, I do. [ Riku paused for a brief moment before summoning his keyblade. It'd actually been...a while since he had held it. ]

Whoa. That's awesome! [Lloyd is duly impressed when Riku's weapon just appears!

Then he gets a look at what it is, and he blinks. Just a hint of hesitation in his voice.]

You... fight with a key?

[Distractedly stepping onto the warp pad now.]

[ Excuse you, Lloyd. The keyblade is awesome. :| The older teen laughs just the same, shaking his head a bit. ]

It's called a keyblade. It comes from the power of certain peoples hearts. [ He shrugs a little as he walks onto the warp pad as well. ] It might not be a sword, but it works just about the same. [ And in the right hands destroy or rescue a world. ]

[Aww, come on. You have to forgive his skepticism. It's a giant key. Besides, he'll learn soon enough.

The warp surrounds them with light and the world fades out for a moment. When the light disappears, they're on the mountain. Lloyd hardly even blinks before stepping off. Yup, he's used to that effect.]

Huh. I'll have to take your word for it. [He eyes it again, this time with a hint of curiosity. How can a weapon have the power of hearts? What's it like to fight with?]

Come on, let's head over to the forest over there.

[ Oh he will. ;D And he does forgive his skepticism. He would probably be the same way.

Riku, however, does not. He looks a bit disoriented as he walks off the warp pad and looks around the area they were in. ]

Sounds good to me. [ The keyblade vanishes (simply because Riku didn't think he needed it) and stepping forward. ] Long-range fighting right? [ Riku might alternate to keep this up but for the most part this is more to benefit Lloyd rather than himself. ]

[Man, that is still so cool to watch. Lloyd wishes he had a weapon or something he could summon or banish, too.

Once they're a good distance from anything they might damage besides open grass and trees, Lloyd glances at his surroundings, then turns to answer Riku.]

Yeah. I don't mind practice with close range, too, but long range is what I need help with. [He shifts into a ready stance, pulling out his swords.] Let me know when you want to start.
